چکیده
We calculate the decay constants of Ds and D∗ s with B̄0 → D+`−ν and B̄0 → D+D−(∗) s decays. In our analysis we take the factorization method with considering non-factorizable term contributions and used two different form factor behaviours (constant and monopoletype) for F0(q). We also consider the QCD-penguin and Electroweak-penguin contributions in hadronic decays within the NDR renormalization scheme at NLO calculation. We estimate the decay constant of the Ds meson to be 233 ± 49 MeV for (pole/pole)-type form factor and 255±54 MeV for (pole/constant)-type form factor. For D∗ s meson, we get fD∗ s = 346± 82 MeV, and fD∗ s /fDs = 1.43 ± 0.45 for (pole/constant)-type form factor. How particles emerge from decaying classical fields in heavy ion collisions: towards a kinetic description of the Glasma
We develop the formalism discussed previously in hep-ph/0601209 and hep-ph/0605246 to construct a kinetic theory that provides insight into the earliest “Glasma” stage of a high energy heavy ion collision. Particles produced from the decay of classical fields in the Glasma obey a Boltzmann equation whose novel features include an inhomogeneous source term and new contributions to the collision ...

متن کاملhep - ph / 0307386 July 2003 χ c 1 and χ c 2 decay angular distributions at the Fermilab Tevatron
We consider the hadroproduction of χ c1 and χ c2 mesons and their subsequent radiative decays to J/ψ mesons and photons in the factorization formalism of non-relativistic quantum chromodynamics, and study the decay angular distributions, by means of helicity density matrices, in view of their sensitivity to color-octet processes. We present numerical results appropriate for the Fermilab Tevatron.
متن کاملSLAC - PUB - 13184 EFI 08 - 04 arXiv : 0803 . 3229 [ hep - ph ] March 2008 EXAMINATION OF FLAVOR SU ( 3 ) IN B , B s
We update a discussion of the relation between the weak phase γ and the rates and CP asymmetries of several Kπ decays of B, B, and Bs. We emphasize the impact of measurements of Bs → Kπ. Current data indicate large SU(3) breaking in the strong phases or failure of factorization (including its application to penguin amplitudes) in Kπ modes of B and Bs. SU(3) and factorization only remain approxi...
متن کاملThe Dijkgraaf - Vafa correspondence for theories withfundamental matter fields ∗
In this talk I describe some applications of random matrix models to the study of N = 1 supersymmetric Yang-Mills theories with matter fields in the fundamental representation. I review the derivation of the Veneziano-Yankielowicz-Taylor/Affleck-Dine-Seiberg superpotentials from constrained random matrix models (hep-th/0211082), a field theoretical justification of the logarithmicmatter contrib...
